Flood Remediation
If your property has been affected by flooding, it is important that any remediation work is carried out by a specialist who understands how dampness affects a building in the long term, and is experienced in the most suitable remedial treatments.
We can help in the first instance by ensuring that the building dries out as quickly as possible, and that any areas particularly vulnerable to decay are given the necessary attention, greatly reducing the likelihood of wet or dry rot developing. This can sometimes happen unseen, and, if untreated, may continue after the property has been refitted and redecorated, leading to further expensive and disruptive work becoming necessary.
Once the building is sufficiently dry, we can then tackle the residual dampness in the structure of the building using the same range of treatments that we use on a daily basis when treating ordinary dampness. We can often do this whilst the building is occupied, meaning that you can move back into your home as soon as possible.
